"The Loneliness Epidemic"
Loneliness has been acknowledged as one of Western societies main concerns. 1 or 5 Americans and 43% of the elderly are regularly lonely, which puts them at 30% higher risk of heart disease, 50% higher risk of Alzheimer's Disease and ultimately might lead to earlier death.
Speaking to another person regularly can have a significantly beneficial impact on lonely individuals.

"Income & Career Predicament"
49% of adult Israelis do not speak English well, which limits their career opportunities; on average, they earn 19% lower incomes than people who speak English well.
Israelis from lower socioeconomic background are more adversely affected as their natural exposure to English is more limited and they lack the financial resources to seek out the costly services of tutors or programs for adults.
Speaking regularly to a native English speaker promotes improved verbal skills in spoken language.
